FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Digital Access Control

To register for InSite 4.0 access control, please visit https://insite.zeppelin-rental.de. After confirming your e-mail address, you can add your company to the system. 

Activation is carried out manually by the responsible persons on site. To speed up the process, please contact the site management or your contact person on the construction site directly.

Login

If you already have a user account and your company is activated for the portal, you can log in directly. Under the menu item "Register for construction project" you will find an overview of the available construction projects. If your project is not listed, please contact our support team.

First, log in to the portal with your access data. As soon as you are logged in, click on the "Profile" section in the top menu. There you have the option of changing your current password. To do this, first enter your current password and then set a new, secure password. Don't forget to save your changes.

Click on "Forgotten Password" on the login page. Then enter your login name. A message with further instructions will be sent to the e-mail address you entered.

Technical requirements for using Zeppelin InSite 4.0

  • Web browser, preferably Chrome

Start the application

CREATE A NEW CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

You don't have an account in our  InSite 4.0 yet? Then simply click on "Register" and follow the next steps:

Register instead  (Stattdessen registrieren) 

Fill out Registration

Please enter your company details in the form.

Important: Personalized information must be entered for the First name and Last name fields. Non-personalized accounts will not be accepted.

Confirm data

After your registration, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link to verify your account. 

Please click on the link to complete your registration.

Only after successful confirmation is your account verified and you can log in.

Initial Registration and Input of Company Data

Please log in to the system with your access data. When you log in for the first time, you will be automatically redirected to the company data setup.

Register for the construction project

Registering a construction project

To register for a construction project, click on »Register for a construction project« (Am Bauvorhaben anmelden).

Assign Client and Trade

Select your client and insert the relevant trades from the information provided. To add several trades, click on »Trade« (Gewerk) again.

Add Contact person

To add contact persons for your company, click on »Create new contact person/contact« (Neuen Ansprechpartner/Kontakt anlegen.)

Then fill in the form and confirm with »Create« (Anlegen) to continue.

 

Review

After you have registered for a building project, your request will be checked and approved by the person responsible for the building project.

Creation of Subcontractors

Show Companies

To create a subcontractor, click on the gear wheel and then select »Companies« (Firmenstamm).

Create a Company

The next step is, click on »Create company« (Firma anlegen). his is where you create subcontractors for the company master data.

Company Data

Please enter all the required data for the subcontractor in the corresponding fields so that it can be created and processed in the system.

Additional Documents

Select the »Industry minimum wages« (Gesetzlicher Mindestlohn) for the subcontractor and upload a business registration or an extract from the commercial register of the subcontractor.

Check & Confirm

Check all the entered data and confirm that you are authorized to create the subcontractor.

Activation of company data (subcontractor)

After completing registration, you will receive an e-mail to enable your account. The activation is checked and approved manually by an employee. This process can take up to 2 days.
